The Gospel-Bluegrass Band “For Heaven’s Sake” has been entertaining West Michigan music fans for a number of years now. The quartet – performing together since the spring of 2007 – is comprised of co-founders Loretta Williams-Alberta (upright bass, vocals), and Jackie Walters (mandolin, guitar, vocals). Their easy Gospel style is rounded out by Pam Kreuzer (fiddle, vocals) and Mark Walker (guitar, mandolin, banjo, vocals).

For Heaven’s Sake’s smooth harmonies have earned praises at a variety of festivals, churches and benefits, and they were the sole Gospel Bluegrass act at the 2009 Beaver Island Music festival. GOOD NEWS! Their first CD, entitled "Gospel 'Round the Table" was released December 15, 2012, and is now available!!

However, with the good news comes some sad news: For Heaven's Sake began an indefinate hiatus, effective November 4th, 2012. Several members have recently become 'empty nesters' and expressed a desire to pursue some quality time with their spouses. Their final regular performance took place on Sunday, November 4th, at Grace Bible Church in Kent City, MI.
